Getting Your Priorities

The education system in India doesn't actually test the knwoledge of a student but rather tests the memorizing capabilities. The (hard) work of entire six months is evaluated in terms of 12hours (4 papers) . Such is the system...

Alas I cannot change it so I have to follow it like hundreds of thousands with me....

The final 'Acid' Test will start from the 18th and will go on tillJune1. I have spent hours 'dreaming' being an engineer out of the rut of term start-time pass- submission-viva-exam-time pass. Finally the worth of the time we work will be evaluated incurrencyy rather than %ages. But saying all this I can't neglect this final hurdle as it still will play an important role in my future.

I have heard many-a-lectures saying that you have to work hard all the semester to get good marks and crap like that but its all wrong maybe it is because the way my mind is conditioned to cope up with the matter (read cram the sh*t) during the final few dbeforeefor the exam.

There have tough times in my academic career where I have felt like asking myself the question why am I doing this??? But we all have to fit the pattern or else we will be left out and I hate being left out. Always the future has influenced and inspired my present and sometimes dictated my actions.

Coming back to my priorities, right now my priority is to clear the final papers upto my expectation and that is no small task. (UN)Luckily the exam schedule this year is rather long with lots of gaps between papers which will proove more of a curse than a boon. So it all boils down to these few days (22 to be precise) and I have to distance myself from this wonderful cyber world so as to have chance of achiveing mytarget.

See you later (much later)
